Each board is unique and one-of-a-kind, all with their own unique markings. These charcuterie boards have been fully cured and are food safe. Hand hewn markings are left on for that special rustic look.

If these boards could talk, they would tell tales from the late 1800's. We reclaimed wood from one of the first homes here in North Idaho. Two brothers moved up to Sandpoint, ID from Texas to start an apple orchard in 1893. We uncovered these beautiful planks that were covered by modern walls somewhere back in the 40's. So, we are guessing these are at least 125 years old!

By chance, we were able to find the great-great granddaughter of one of the brothers who started the Elasser Apple Orchard so many years ago. Read all about this restore on our blog post: Elasser Apple Orchard.
